We are a specialist services provider to the Rail Industry. We are based in Hillingdon, London and Rayleigh, Essex. Our vision is to be the preferred supplier to the rail industry for all aspects of Vegetation Management and Environmental Services. Our Policy is to undertake all works within our establishment and not to sub contract.

We have been undertaking vegetation maintenance on stations for 10 years and trackside vegetation control on behalf of Network Rail for 8 years. Our experience has evolved in line with the demands of maintaining a pleasurable and safe environment for rail customers. Our current contracts with Metronet Rail, Train Operating Companies and Network Rail ensure we meet the challenge of providing excellent customer satisfaction delivered with high levels of safety.

Railscape Ltd is a registered sponsor under Network Rail NCCA Sentinel scheme. We have 90 Personal Track Safety trained operatives whose competencies range from ES, COSS to PTS. Our management team has over 65 years experience within all sectors of railway operation.

50 of our staff have LUL track competencies from Site Person in Charge to Entry Permit level.

Our current client base includes both Metronet and Network Rail, for whom we manage contracts to provide line-side environmental services and vegetation maintenance. This has involved major projects from 2002 - current.

During last three years we have expanded the operation to include the provision of ‘Visual Impact’ services for Transport for London, LUL, Network Rail and the train companies. The scope of this work covers vegetation control, litter clearance, pest control, waste clearance, fencing repairs, station deep cleaning and graffiti removal from all railway infrastructure.

We operate environmental contracts for Network Rail which involves track bed effluent removal and litter control at all stations throughout the Anglia region including London Liverpool Street.


We currently manage Planned Preventative Vegetation Maintenance contracts for Metronet Rail, National Express East Anglia and c2c. We have also provided reactive vegetation and environmental maintenance services for First Capital Connect and London Midland.

Our employees are all professionally trained and highly flexible in order to deliver the above services.

We have National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) trained and assessed vegetation professionals with a mix of the following skills

Chainsaw Operatives – Various Competencies Tree Climbers and Aerial Rescue
Herbicide/Pesticide PA1 and PA6

We have plant and equipment that includes a fleet of multi purpose vehicles and 6inch and 9inch Tracked Chippers.
